Hamilton Leva WD/Hernandez TN
28-03-2012 | stallion | bay | KWPNBorn in The Netherlands; celebrated worldwide. The stallion Kannan has an impressive service record: not only as an international sport horse that took part in ECs and WCs, but definately also as a stud. This son of Voltaire has at present dozens of progeny participating at the highest levels in international sport. He has proved that he is as good a stud as he is a performer. In this foal, Kannan is combined with the ‘ster prok’ mare Bea-Leva. She had a good IBOP test (79.5 points) and is a daughter of show jumper progenitor Numero Uno- he hardly needs further introduction. After his successful sports career under Marco Kutscher he went on to develop into one of the most influential stallions in show jumper breeding. In this context, one can think of horses such as Tamino (Marc Houtzager), Tyson (Leon Thijssen) and Take Of (Eric Lamaze). Grandam Leva II was active in 1.35m-jumping. Her dam, the mare Celeva ‘keur pref. prest.’, a daughter of Nimmerdor, was extremely successful in breeding. As well as Leva II, she produced the 1.30m-show jumper Heleva (sire: Beethoven) and the Olympic horse Navantus (sire: Gervantus)
